Financial Benefits for Florida Bright Futures Scholarship:
Florida Bright Futures Scholarships 2023-2024 in United States will cover the75% and 100% of the Tuition Feeof Nominated Students.
Types of Scholarships:
1# Florida Academic Scholarship (FAS):
- 100 salaried work hours or 100 service hours
- 16 high school course credits Required
- 50 weighted GPA
- Attain minimum ACT®/SAT® score of high school graduation year by 30 June
2# Florida Medallion Scholarship (FMS):
- 100 rewarded work hours or 100 service hours
- 16 high school course credits Required
- 00 weighted GPA
- Attain minimum ACT®/SAT® score of high school graduation year by 30 June
3# Gold Seal Cape Scholarship (GSC):
- No GPA requirement
- 100 paid work hours or 30 service hours
- 5 CAPE post-secondary credit hours required
- ACT®/SAT® score not required
4# Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship (GSV):
- In non-elective courses 3.00 weighted GPA
- In career education courses 3.5 unweighted GPA
- In a single Career and Technical Education program 3 full credits hours required
- 100 salaried work hours or 30 service hours
- No required courses
- Attain minimum ACT®/SAT® or P.E.R.T. exams score of high school graduation year by June 30
General Eligibility Requirements for Florida Bright Futures Scholarship:
- Be a resident of Florida and a resident of the U.S. or an eligible foreign national as reported by the student’s postsecondary institution.
- Students can complete the FFAA no later than August 31 after graduating from high school.
- Be paid a standard Florida high school diploma or its equivalent from a Florida public high school or a Florida Department of Education (FDOE) registered private high school; or complete a home education program.
- Have not been found guilty of or pleaded guilty to a felony unless the student has been pardoned by the Governor and Cabinet sitting as the Executive Pardon Office.
- Be known and joined in a certificate or degree program at an eligible public or self-determining postsecondary institution in Florida.
- Be registered in a minimum six non-remedial semester credit hours (or the equal in quarter hours or hours) /semester
Specific Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduate from a Florida public high school with a Florida standard baccalaureate.
- Achieve the required minimum ACT® or SAT® college entrance exam score by June 30 of the year of high school graduation;
- Complete the required number of volunteer services or 100 paid work hours; and
- Submit the FFAA no later than August 31st after high school graduation
