The Stependum Hungricum Scholarship Program was organized by the Hungarian government in2013to offer foreign students with the chance to pursue theirhigher education in Hungary. The main aim of the program is to increase/enhance the number of international students in Hungary and to encourage Hungarian higher education institutions to attract top international students.
The Scholarship Program provides full degree and partial study opportunitiesin three cycle degree structure (Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral programs),mostly in English, however, other foreign language study programs are also offered in the framework of the Stendium Hungricum Scholarship Program. Applicants may also apply for a one-year Hungarianlanguage preparation training course, after which they can undertake their higher education in Hungarian. Applicants need to prepare and upload the following mentioned documents for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships.
- Submit the Online Application Form
- Submit the National ID card or Passport Copy
- Offer Certificate of Education (school-leaving Qualification, a document of Graduation or any Equivalent, High school diploma, University or College Diploma/Certificate or any equivalent; all in English (translated).
- Provide Certificate or Proof of citizenship and/or permanent residence (e.g. Passport).
- Submit Short Resume/CV
- Submit Motivational Letter

- Submit Citizens, nationals, or permanent residents of the United States of America applying for the Medicine program of the University are required to submit their Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) results.
Note:IELTS/TOEFL Language Certificate is Not a Compulsory to apply for scholarship in Hungary.

Eligibility Criteria Hungary Scholarships for International Students:
To apply forHungarian Government Scholarship, candidates must have to meet the following criteria:
- All international candidates are allowed to apply for Scholarship.
- Citizens of Hungary or having Dual Nationality with Hungary are not allowed apply for scholarship.
- Applicants must have age more than 18 Years as of 31st August 2023.
- Candidates not studying in any Hungary Higher Institution on Self-Financed based.
- Those applicants who avail this scholarship before are not allowed to apply for scholarship.
Application Deadline Hungary Scholarship Program:
16th January 2023 is the last date to apply forHungary Government Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships. Result will be announced in June 2022. Applicants may join their classes in September 2023.
