A fully funded exchange programme, the YSEALI PFP Professional Fellows Programme 2024 in the USA is organised by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. Emerging leaders from Southeast Asia have the chance to spend five to six weeks in the US as part of the Young Southeast Asian Emerging Leaders Initiative Programme, where they will gain professional-relevant fellowship experiences at non-profits, government agencies, or for-profit businesses.
The programme aims to promote intercultural understanding, advance the professional and leadership abilities of Fellows, and create linkages between young leaders in Southeast Asia and the US. Civic Engagement, Economic Empowerment, Governance and Society, Sustainable Development and the Environment make up the four main priority areas of the YSEALI PFP.
